What a brilliant day of RUSH hockey!
An incredible 56 players across 8 teams took part in today’s tournament.
The day was played in the true spirit of Rush Hockey – bringing people together to enjoy the game, regardless of ability. From experienced players to complete beginners learning the rules for the very first time, everyone got involved, supported one another and had a fantastic time.
Today’s tournament was held in aid of the MND Foundation (mndfoundation.org.uk), a charity dedicated to improving care, support, guidance and research for people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. A special mention goes to Chris’Hockeynomails Team, who raised an incredible £878 for today’s event! What an outstanding achievement.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, donated and cheered from the sidelines. Together, you’ve made a real difference and helped make the day a huge success, both on and off the pitch.
Special mention to Mixed Grill Team who took the tournament WIN!
Total raised today just over £1100 all going direct to MND Foundation.
BIG THANK YOU to Caitlin Nolan, Gemma Fitzgerald, Ruth Llewellyn along with Liane IIes from MND Foundation for putting the tournament together.
Hockey. Community. Making a difference.
