Each member of Southend Hockey Club is required to pay a membership fee; for Youth members, Students or OAPs this fee is reduced. Your membership fee allows you to attend our training sessions (usually held on Wednesday evenings throughout the winter season), play in our winter and summer leagues and attend our social events held throughout the year.
In addition to the yearly membership fee each player is required to play match fees for every winter and summer league game they participate in, again this fee is reduced for Youth Players, Students and OAPs. Some of our social events may also carry a fee depending on the occasion.
Your membership fee can be paid either in full before the start of each season or via a direct debit payment plan (this must be set up before the start of the season but may run throughout the year).
We also offer Social & Associate Memberships at a reduced rate. The Social Membership entitles a member to participate in up to 5 matches or training sessions; any additional costs such as Match Fees will still be payable with this membership. The Associate Membership is a non-playing membership entitling a member to take part in all Southend Hockey Club non-playing events.
The table below shows the membership fees for the current season (2018/19):
|Membership Type||Annual Fee||Match Fee|
|Social Membership||£50||£10 (senior)
